it kind of reminds me a bit of skyrim (I mean topic, not picture).. like.. man, this picture looks so awesome, but as DeviouslyCD said, I agree on that, pfft, im a chicken nord XD wonder how it would be like to live in time of either vikings or ... oh god how is that word spelled.. middevial ? something like that ^^`

as a full-blooded englishmen it pains me to say the viking may have the upper hand here. Sure the knight has more protection, better crafted weapons and trained in swordmanship; but the vikings had larger numbers, higher mobility and weapons capable of inflicting crushing blunt force trauma (a weakness of the full plate armour). These foes may never have really met on the battlefield, but it'd be a close call.

Viking are physically stronger and bigger, have big heavy swords. but it'd be a close call as you said
